Edwina Clark Davis of Salisbury passed on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 after complications from kidney failure. Born on Feb. 22, 1935 in Delmar, Md., she was the daughter of the late Edwin C. Taylor and the late Ruth Ann Parker Taylor.

She graduated from Carlisle High School in Pennsylvania and attended Woodbridge School in Salisbury studying clerical and accounting. Professionally, Edwina served as office manager and co-owner for many years with Robert Clark Electric. She was a longtime member of Ayres United Methodist Church.

Edwina was active in the Pittsville Vol. Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She played in the Wicomico County Softball League. She was very active in the Chesapeake Bay Girl Scouts at Ayers UMC. At Ayers UMC she served as a Sunday School teacher and coached MYF Softball League. She served as the secretary, treasurer, and past president of the PTA at Pittsville High School. Edwina loved her community and for many years taught swim lessons in the communities of Pittsville and Powellville. She served on the Board of Elections for Wicomico County. She was a chicken grower for approximately 25 years for Showell Farms and Perdue Farms. Later in life she worked with Wicomico County Schools in the cafeteria and as a teacher’s aide at Prince Street Elementary School.     

Edwina is survived by her loving husband of 25 years Richard “Sixty” Davis of Powellville; two daughters, Nancy Clark (David) Saveikis of Seaford, Cathy Anne Clark of Parsonsburg, MD; three step-sons, Kirk Harrington of Willards, Mark (Lisa) Harrington of Whaleysville, Md., Troy Davis of Salisbury; five granddaughters, Lauren Saveikis Torres of Felton, Sarah E. Myers of Taneytown, Md., Dayna Harrington of Salisbury, Hannah Harrington of Salisbury, Meagan Harrington of Crisfield; three grandsons, Kole Harrington of Salisbury, Mark Allen Harrington, Jr. of Whaleysville, Md., Chad Harrington of Pittsville; one great-granddaughter Ella; and two great-grandsons Clark and Graham; brother, Robert Lee (Lu) Taylor of Powellville, Md.; and sister, Patricia Ann Sadowski of Florida; and eight nieces and nephews.

Edwina was preceded in death by her parents, and her first husband, Robert Lee Clark, and grandson, Stephen Saveikis.

A visitation was held Wednesday, March 24 at Holloway Funeral Home and Thursday, March 25 from 9-10 a.m. at Holloway Funeral Home. Services will be held on Thursday, March 25 at 10 a.m. at Holloway Funeral Home, 501 Snow Hill Road, Salisbury, MD 21804. Interment will take place privately at a later date.
