Douglas K. Morgan of Seaford passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday morning. He was born in Milford to the late Kendall Morgan and Marie Ferrell Morgan. He grew up in Laurel where he met his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Nancy Davis, whom he married in 1965.

He gave service to the National Guard for six years. He retired from the DuPont Corp. in 2001 after 36 years of service. He was a former member of the Laurel Saddle Friends group where he and his wife shared their love of horses. He enjoyed farming and gardening for many years as well as fishing and hunting. He loved his garden where he planted and grew many vegetables every summer. He knew how to grow the best tasting tomatoes around. He also was a car enthusiast and enjoyed drag racing. In his later years, his greatest passion was spending time with his grandson, whom he adored.

In addition to his wife of 55 years Nancy Morgan, he is survived by his daughter Christina Voss and grandson Connor Voss, both of Laurel, and a sister Kay White of Seaford. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Janice Lynch, in 2017.

Funeral Services will be private.
