Donna Beth Warren O’Day of Seaford passed away peacefully on May 8, 2025, surrounded by her family. Donna was born on Jan. 10, 1947, in Greensboro, Md., the daughter of the late Gus and Laura Warren. Here she was raised with her brother Hubert Warren, and three sisters Deloris (Fleming), Celeste (Spies), and Lucille (Coffin).

Soon after graduation, Donna began working at the DuPont nylon plant. Here through friends and family she was introduced to her husband of 56 years William O’Day. After marrying Bill, she transitioned to helping grow the family farm. As part owner and operator of the farm she helped diversify with the addition of O’Day’s U-pick a fruit and vegetable operation. Donna was an active partner in all aspects of the operation from planting, weeding to record keeping and helping the customers at the register.

Although Donna was a savvy businesswomen Donna’s greatest gift was her love of taking care of others and although many teenagers that worked on the farm and customers were able to enjoy her happy care giving nature it was always evident that family was her number one priority. Donna dedicated her life to taking care of her husband Bill, her children, her grandchildren and her family and friends. When Donna was not farming, she enjoyed bowling, traveling, being involved in the Grange, Farm Bureau, Homemaker’s club and the Woodland Community Church while also spending as much time as she could with family and friends.

Donna is survived by her husband of 56 years, William A. O’Day; two children, William “Billy” O’Day wife Robin, grandchildren Brock, Rachel and Bryce, and daughter Rebecca “Becky” Adams husband Patrick, grandchildren Zachary, Zane and Ashley, and her sister Lucille Coffin. She was preceded in death by her parents, her eldest daughter Tammy O’Day and her brother, Hubert Warren, sisters Deloris Fleming, and Celeste Spies as well as many other loved ones and family members.
