Donald W. Williams of Selbyville died Friday, May 24, 2024 at home. He was born in Williamsville, Del. and was the son of the late George Williams and Eva (Rickards) Williams. 

Donald retired as the vice president of operations with Peninsula Oil Company after 40 years of service. After his retirement, he enjoyed traveling, playing cards with family, Sundays on the beach and his crossword puzzles and Suduko. He was a member of Sound United Methodist Church in Williamsville, life member and past Exalted Ruler of the Selbyville Elks, Selbyville Lions Club, and the Selbyville Town Council. 

He is survived by his wife, E. Dianne Williams; his children, Brian W. Bunting of Mobile, AL, Elise Mumford and husband Scott Mumford of Selbyville and Kara Krause and husband Dr. Mark Krause of Salisbury; a granddaughter, Anna Elisabeth Mumford; a sister, Jeanette Grise of Selbyville and many loving nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, George Williams II, Johnny Williams, Kenny Williams, Anna Williams, Julia Hickman, Betty Carey, Irma Hudson, Eva Baker, Leah Dorey and Marion Hadder.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
