The Delmar football program will recognize the accomplishments of the 1976 football team prior to the Wildcats’ Homecoming game against Early College@DSU on Saturday, Oct.10 at 1:30 p.m. Team members and a guest are invited to the game and will be introduced prior to kickoff.

The Delmar VFW is also inviting members of the team for an informal get-together on Friday, Oct. 9 at 7:30 p.m.

The 1976 team went 9-1 during the regular season, winning its first Henlopen South championship before winning the first state championship in school history.
