David W. Cameron of Bridgeville passed away on Monday, Jan. 4, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on Dec. 2, 1967, son of the late William Duncan Cameron and Helen Elizabeth Marshall Cameron, who survives him. He was also preceded in death by a brother Robert R. Cameron.

Mr. Cameron worked as a cabinet maker his entire life for many different companies throughout Sussex County. He also previously owned and operated Sussex Craft Mall in Bridgeville. He enjoyed putting on pig roasts for his friends, taking a day out to fish with his son, and spending time with all his family members, especially the children. 

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son David W. Cameron, Jr. of Bridgeville; stepdaughters, Kristy Martin O’Neil (Alan) and Shannon Martin, both of Laurel; his former spouse, Brenda Williams of Laurel; sister and brother-in-law Catherine and George Schweigart of Woodhull, NY; his granddaughter Logan A. Cameron of Bridgeville; step grandchildren, Rylee Scott and Raegan O’Neal and Braydon MacDonald and Jaxon Webb; nephews, George Schweigart, Jr. and Robert Cameron, Jr., and nieces Rebekah and Bethany Schweigart, Kyrstin and Leah Cameron and children.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic all services will be privately held with burial at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church Yard in Seaford.

Memorials are suggested to any charity of choice.
