Connie Imlay Powell passed away March 23 after a short illness. She had a long career with DuPont for three and a half decades. She then went to work for Peninsula Regional Medical Center for 17 years. She was predeceased by parents William Imlay and Leona Caudill and siblings Brenda Imlay Phillips (deceased) and Bill Imlay (deceased). She is survived by brother Layton Parsons; daughter Karen Oplinger Morrow; granddaughters Makayla Hastings and Megan Hastings; grandson Justin Clemons; four great-grandchildren she adored; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins too numerous to mention as well as special friends Susan Hammond, and Patricia Casels.
There will be a celebration of life on April 27 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Moose Lodge in Seaford.
