“The real estate market is still strong, and I’m making things happen,” asserted Lee Johnson, realtor, broker and office manager of Coldwell Banker Premier in Seaford. When it comes to buying or selling real estate, you want a real estate company with experience, and a realtor who knows the area. Johnson has been a proud resident of western Sussex County for over 40 years.

After growing up in Seaford, graduating from the University of Delaware in 1998 with a finance degree and working in retail sales, management and training for a few years, Johnson earned his real estate license and decided to focus on providing clients with top quality real estate service. He joined the Sussex County, Delaware and National Association of Realtors, plus the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) and several local chambers of commerce. To learn how to keep pace and adapt to changes in the economy, Johnson has participated in real estate conferences in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, New Orleans and Boston.

“I have used my many years of experience to diversify my real estate services,” he continued. “I have worked with investors who intended to purchase and resell homes for profit. I have also helped buyers and sellers of local farms to help make their transaction run as smoothly as possible.”

In addition, in this rapidly growing area, Johnson has worked with builders to assist in the development of thriving neighborhoods such as Ridgewood Crossing, Asbury Meadows, Cypress Pointe, Heritage Point and the Village of Cinderberry.

Johnson added, “Perhaps most importantly, I have assisted many first time home buyers in the purchase of houses of their own. Regardless of your buying or selling needs, I am fully prepared to make it happen for you.”

Along the course of his career, he has received many professional accolades. “I was recognized as a member of the National Executives Club and inducted into the International Diamond Society, and I have received my company’s prestigious Top Producer award over 20 times.”

Johnson has received NAR’s Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) designation, which is for buyers agents who excel at working with buyers through every step of the home buying process. He also earned the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation, which is the highest rated designation for residential realtors. In 2022, he was awarded the Coldwell Banker Pillar award, which is a career achievement award presented by brokers to one person who they feel best represents the qualities of integrity, cooperation, professionalism and innovation.

These traits were never more evident than when Johnson received his broker’s license from the state of Delaware, and he was selected to be the broker of record for Coldwell Banker’s Seaford office.

As the broker, he has worked hard to build a culture of cooperation between realtors, clients, business partners and the community.

“I am thankful for the cooperative atmosphere of our office, and I feel that has been instrumental in the success of each of the realtors and a reason we have doubled in size in the past few years,” said Johnson.

He is looking to maintain the high standards of Coldwell Banker, help the company’s realtors achieve success and continue to build and grow the office. He issued an invitation to any current or prospective realtors who are interested in being part of a successful office to contact him and “come see what we are all about.”
