Christopher (Chris) Wayne Greaves of Bethel passed away at TidalHealth Nanticoke on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.
Born in Hyattsville, Md., he was the son of the late Robert H. and Virginia Bell Greaves. He is survived by his cousins Marty Waters Pusey, Donald Waters, Michael Bell Vargas, Lee Bell, Kathy Bell Tarkington, and his lifelong friend, John Mattingly. He was preceded in death by cousins Bill Waters, Susan Waters, and Jeff Bell.
Chris graduated from Hyattsville High School and spent his career working on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. at the Library of Congress. He was known for his love of cars and music by Elvis Presley. He always retained a positive persona despite his physical challenges later in life.
