The Laurel Ruritan and FFA Chicken BBQ will take place on Saturday, Aug. 30 at the Tidal Health Immediate Care on U.S. 13 in Laurel.

The meal will include a half chicken, baked beans, pickles, and a roll for $12. Money to benefit local charities. It will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m, or until sold out. The rain date is Sept. 1.
