CHEER, Inc. is hosting a bus trip to the Green Dragon Farmers Market and Auction in Ephrata, Lancaster County, Pa. on Friday, Sept. 20. The market sits humbly on a spacious 60-acre site in the heart of Amish Country.

Since its inception in 1932, it has grown to become one of the largest flea markets on the East Coast. With seven large market buildings and over a hundred local vendors, you’re sure to find whatever you’re looking for at this prized Lancaster farmers market! Baked goods, tools, flowers, local fresh produce, crafts, clothing, jams and jellies, food vendors, sit-down eating and more are available at several locations. To read about all the vendors at the Green Dragon and their merchandise, go to https://www.greendragonmarket.com.

All seven of the main buildings are handicap accessible. The restrooms in building #1 and building #7 are handicap accessible. However, wheelchairs and electric scooters are not available.  Bring a pull-along cart to carry your purchases around with you; be sure to put an identification tag on it.

The cost of the bus trip is $45 per person. Lunch is on your own at several of the options available on site. Departure will be at 7:30 a.m. from the CHEER Community Center at 20520 Sandhill Road, Georgetown. The bus will return at approximately 6 p.m.
