Carroll Wayne Tyndall passed away Oct. 15, 2021 in Lexington, Kentucky. Carroll was born in Seaford to the late Florence Hughes Tyndall. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, John Tyndall and James Tyndall, as well as a niece, Marsha Tyndall.

Carroll is survived by his loving wife, Beverly Del Gallo Tyndall; a nephew, Tommy Tyndall; three nieces, Valerie Coffin, Jamie Smith, and Angie Hubbard; special cousins, Edith Poore, Paula Wheedleton, and James Wheedleton; sisters-in-law, Penny Tyndall, Linda Moore-Kocur, and Susie Johnson; brother-in-law, Steven Del Gallo; godson, Benjamin Wheedleton; many great nieces and nephews; as well as very close friends that he considered as family, Polly Lakes, Lee Creech, Chris Lakes; and his precious Doberman, Willa.

Carroll retired from the federal prison system. He loved building and woodworking in his spare time. He will forever be remembered as someone who loved his family deeply, and always put their needs before his own.

A memorial service will be held Friday, Oct. 29 at 4:30 p.m. at Lakes Funeral Home, with Reverend Allen Livingood officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Carroll’s memory to Shriners Hospital for Children, Kentucky Sheriffs Boys and Girls Ranch or Father Flannigan’s Boys Town.
