Carol P. Landa, a kind spirit with a love for adventure and travel, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 16, 2024. Born on Feb. 24, 1953, in Pittsburgh, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Audrey Pearl (Mann) Wolfe and George F. Wolfe. She spent many years residing in Boyers, Pennsylvania where she played an integral part in the founding and success of Landa Appliance Service before moving to Erie, Pa. and later Delmar, Md.

Carol dedicated her career to healthcare as a medical billing and coding specialist, showcasing her commitment to helping others. When not working, she found joy in riding dirt bikes and embarking on motocross trips, embodying her adventurous nature and zest for life. Additionally, Carol had a special fondness for music, animals, and her beloved collection of frogs.

She is survived by her children, Farrah Morelli (Joseph) of Delmar, Del., Jacqueline Carson (Wayne) of Harrisville, Pa., and Joseph Landa (Jessie) of North East, Pa.; 13 grandchildren; former husband and close friend, Joseph Landa; brothers, David and John Wolfe; sisters, Mary Jevne, Ruth Herrmann, Kathy Hunter, Donna Thurston, and Nancy Wolfe; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Judith Landa; and special friend, Gerry Lohrer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Wolfe.

A graveside memorial service to celebrate Carol’s life will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Alto-Reste Park in Altoona, Pa. The service will provide an opportunity for all those who knew and loved Carol to come together, share memories, and honor her life.
