Calvin James Newton of Seaford passed away peacefully on Aug. 12, 2021 at Salisbury Rehab and Nursing Center. Calvin was the son of the late Edward Newton, Sr. and Katherine Newton. He was born in Sharptown.
Calvin retired from Penco Corporation from which he had 38 years of service as Operations Manager of the Fiber Warehouses for DuPont. Calvin loved to crab, fish, hunt and do woodworking. Calvin is survived by his two children Robby Newton (Cyndi) of Pottsboro, Texas and Teresa Morris (Greg) of Laurel; his ex-wife Peggy Newton of Seaford; and his two grandchildren Joshua and Jessica Newton of North Carolina. He also is survived by his sisters and a brother, Sandy Cannon of Laurel, Donna Sinclair of Crisfield, and Edward Newton, Jr. of Federalsburg. A private family service will be held.
