Brittany Samantha McGlaughlin of Lewes passed away on Aug. 15, 2021 at University of Pennsylvania Hospital. Born in Dover, she was the biological daughter of Charles Willoughby of Delmar, Md., and the daughter of Lynnette Donoway and Anthony Donoway who raised her.
While in high school, she earned her cosmetology degree and then went on to receive her degree as a CNA and GNA. Brittany was currently a cell phone representative for Market Source. She loved to color, get bi-monthly massages, jog, going to the beach, and loving her animals.
Brittany is survived by her sisters, Tifa Donoway and her husband Ray, and Brooke-Ashlye M. Carpenter and her wife Sarah; maternal grandmother, Cathy McGlaughlin; her nephew whom was like her son, Buck Andrew Conlee; nephews, Cody Donoway, and Ethan Donoway; niece, Eleda-Lynn Conlee, and her dog Rondo “Mr. Weenie”. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, John McGlaughlin.
A viewing was held on Tuesday, Aug. 24 at the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home in Laurel. A funeral service was held at the funeral home with Pastor Joe LeCates officiating. Interment was private. Arrangements are in the care of the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home in Laurel.
