Barbara June Hitch of Seaford passed away Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury. Born on June 17, 1937 in Wilmington, Mrs. Hitch was the daughter of the late Linden Allen and Bessie Mae (Barber) Allen. 

Mrs. Hitch was preceded in death by son, Ray Lee Turner and daughter, Kay Lynn Passwaters. She is survived by her husband, David J. Hitch of Seaford; three sons: Gary R. Turner of Georgetown; Wayne A. Turner of Manassas, Va.; and Brian E. Turner of Laurel; six grandchildren: Courtney R. Aleman of Burke, Va.; Amber N. Turner of Salisbury; Alan R. Passwaters of Seaford; Russell S. Turner of Burke, Va.; William H. Turner of Burke, Va.; and Payton T. Waite of Seaford; five great-grandchildren: Correy M. Turner of Salisbury; Alayna J. Turner of Salisbury; Jackson F. Aleman of Burke, Va.; Paisley R. Aleman of Burke, Va.; and Wrenly Passwaters of Seaford.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. 

All services will be private. Mrs. Hitch will be laid to rest at Blades Cemetery in Blades, next to her son Ray. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson-Yates Funeral Home & Crematorium, a Parsell Family Funeral Home in Seaford.
