Anthony Scott Townley of Laurel passed away on Feb. 13, 2021. He was born on July 12, 1972 in Falls Church, Virginia to the late Billy Ray Townley, Sr. and Beverly Adele Roberge. He attended Indian River High School in his early years. Scott enjoyed working as a long haul truck driver, traveling, swimming in the ocean, and finding great food at different restaurants. Most importantly, he treasured spending time with his children and grandchildren. 

He is survived by his sons, Wade Townley and his wife Julia of Laurel, and Anthony Townley, Jr. and his wife Sophia of Myanmar; daughter, Bridget Rogers and her husband Troy of Georgetown; brothers, Ralph Townley of Dover, and Billy Townley, Jr. of North Carolina; sister, Carol Nicholson of Georgia; grandchildren, MacKenzie Daye, Trenton Townley, Gracie Rogers, and Weston Townley. Several nieces and nephews also survive him. In addition to his parents, Scott was preceded in death by his brother, Brian Keith Townley. 

Scott’s funeral service will be held Friday, Feb. 26 at 10 a.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, 300 E Church St. in Millsboro.
