David A. Schultz passed away peacefully on Jan. 26, 2022 at TidalHealth Nanticoke hospital. David was born March 12, 1939 in Galena, Md. to Herman Schultz and Ella O’Neil. He was one of 12 children. David was a three year army veteran that was stationed two years in Washington State then a year in South Korea. He was proud of his service to his country. David settled in Seaford with his wife in 1965 and worked for the Dupont plant for most of his life as an electrician. He loved quail, dove and deer hunting and the outdoors. 

David had a passion for old tractors and farm equipment which he used to always have a extra large garden every year. You could always find him out in his shop maintaining his Martin boxes as he always looked forward to seeing them come back every year. He was a avid Harley Davidson rider. David and his wife Frances went on many adventures throughout the years on their Harleys. 

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. David was one of the best and strongest men you could ever meet. He is survived by his loving wife Frances Schultz; daughter Christine Schultz; son David Wade Schultz (Honey Schultz); brother George W. Schultz (Pat McDowell); six grandchildren Kacie Lynch, Jessica Schultz, Veronica Miller, Hailey Dill, James Schultz, DJ Schultz; and five great-grandchildren, Gunner Schultz, Bles’Syn Rogers, William Stewart, Destiny Stewart, and Haley Stewart. We must also mention his two furry kids, pomeranians Peaches and Baby. David is predeceased by eight sisters and two brothers. Flowers may be sent to Cranston Funeral Home.

Funeral services were on Wednesday, Feb. 2 at the Cranston Funeral Home in Seaford. David was laid to rest in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro.
