The Sunday services at Mount Olivet United Methodist will continue on the theme of “One Hope”. On Sunday, July 11, the church will finish the story of Nehemiah, with “Sacred Joy”.
Beginning July 18, the church will move into the letter to the Ephesians. This letter paints a portrait of a community which is rooted in “One Lord, one faith, one baptism”. Just like today, they were not there yet! And so, the letter reminds us of the very practical steps that we need to take as we continue to build this new community of faith in the world.
God offers all of us “one glorious hope for the future” (Ephesians 4:4) as we do the work that has been prepared for us. God’s promise is eternally reliable.
