Lois A. Whaley-Harman of Seaford passed away on Dec. 27, 2020 at TidalHealth Nanticoke. Born in Elkton, Md., she was the daughter of the late Elwood Leon Waldridge, Sr. and Bonnie Mae Waldridge. Lois loved to crochette, watch Catholic Mass on Sunday, westerns and cowboy movies, cook, read cookbooks, and swim in her pool or go to the beach. She had a genuine love for all animals and especially her dogs. Lois will be remembered for being very thrifty and giving to others before giving to herself.
She is survived by her son, Joshua Douglas Whaley of Seaford and her daughter, Maria Cannon and her husband Bobby of Laurel; grandchildren, Lyndsey Renee Whaley and her husband Hullrrico Lopez-Perez, Taylor Marie Cannon, Daniel John Cannon, and Savanna Marie Cannon; great-granddaughter, Rosario Lynn Lopez-Whaley; brother, Jason Waldridge and his wife Leslie of Seaford; sister, Karol Compello and her husband Joe of Glen Arms, Md., Dianna Waldridge of Bridgeville, and Erin DuBozq of Bridgeville; sister-in-law, Deborah Waldridge of Seaford, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Benjamin Harman; brothers, Elwood Leon Waldridge, Jr., and Christopher Shawn Waldridge.
A Catholic funeral Mass was held on Saturday, Jan. 2 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Seaford. Father Steven Giuliano officiated. Interment followed in Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Cemetery.
