The Laurel Ruritan Chicken BBQ will take place on Saturday, Sept. 5, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or until sold out at the TidalHealth Immediate Care on U.S. 13 in Laurel. The meal includes half chicken, baked beans, pickles, and a roll for $12. Money benefits local charities and Laurel K-9. 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Rain date is Sept. 7.
