Mildred Lynne Whealton passed away peacefully after battling heart issues.

Born Oct. 1, 1954, at Beebe Hospital, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Betty Walker of Georgetown. She is preceded in death by a brother, Paul Walker III, and a daughter, Elizabeth Meredith.

Lynne was a member of Cross Roads Community Church and enjoyed volunteering to help serve with Bonnie and the kitchen staff whenever she could. She was a state employee and worked at Adams State Service Center for 20-plus years.

Lynn is survived by her husband of 52 years, Elisha (Bill) Whealton; daughters, Susan Mumford of Oak Orchard and Karin Flowers of Pennsylvania; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

Funeral services will be private. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating to the American Heart Association.
