Delmarva Christian School celebrated the completion of its $30 million Stronger Together Campaign with a special event on Wednesday, May 27 at the Georgetown campus. The school is in the process of bringing its students together on the campus with construction expected to be completed in another year.

School community members enjoyed food trucks, bounce houses, and music at the event. The last beam that will be added to the building was painted white and visitors were invited to sign it.

“It is hard to imagine that a small, Christian school in Sussex County is able to raise $30 million in under four years,” said Director of Advancement Justin Savini. “We’re just thrilled to see all the progress.”

Savini also announced that after completing the initial fundraiser a couple months ago, the school has received another $4 million in donations and is looking to raise another $1 million to finish the project debt free, paying for it in cash.

By August 2027, Delmarva Christian is looking to open its campus for students in pre-K 2 to 12th grade, all on one site.

“It will bring all of our students together right here in Georgetown,” he said. “With God all things are possible. We’re standing on a miracle.”
