The parish community of St. Philip’s Episcopal Church, 600 S. Central Ave. in Laurel, invites you to attend the many celebrations of Holy Week:
Palm Sunday Service (3/29)—9:30 a.m.—Starting on St. Philip’s Labyrinth (weather permitting) or in the Parish House. Procession with palms will follow with the Passion reading and Holy Eucharist Rite II
Maundy Thursday (4/2)—Beginning with Soup and Bread Lenten meal in the Parish House at 5 p.m. Service of Maundy Thursday, including the washing of feet, Holy Eucharist Rite II, and the stripping of the altar will follow at 6:30 p.m..
Good Friday (4/3)—Noon, with the Solemn Reading of the Passion, the Solemn Collects, The Veneration of the Cross, and Holy Communion.
Good Friday (4/3)—3 p.m.—Contemporary Stations of the Cross
Easter Sunday (4/5)—9:30 a.m., with renewal of baptismal promises and Holy Eucharist Rite II.
