Jeffrey Michael Horne, the third and youngest son of James Horne, Sr. and Diane Henry-Horne, was born on Sept. 8, 1966 at Nanticoke Hospital, Seaford, where he took his first God-given breath and sadly his last on Oct. 5, 2025.
Jeffrey completed his senior year in Georgetown and graduated in 1984. While working at Nanticoke Homes Builders (Greenwood), Jeff met and married Constance “Connie” Wingate on September 17, 1987. Together they had one son, Daniel A. Horne (wife Heather). From their marriage, Jeff and Connie became proud grandparents to a granddaughter, Laia Horne (13 years); a grandson, Jaxon Horne (5 years); and a step-grandson, Richard Wingate. Jeffrey was also the brother to Jim Horne, Jr. (wife Tammy) and John Levin Horne.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 8 at 11 a.m. at Victory Tabernacle Church of God, 28261 Seaford Road, Laurel, DE 19956. A luncheon will follow. The family extends deep love and appreciation to Pastor Stacey Johnson for his concern and compassion for our family’s loss.
