Sharon Lynn Marine of Laurel, passed away on Oct. 6, 2025, at her home in Laurel. She was born on Feb. 7, 1951, in Seaford to the late John Foskey and Florence O’Neal Foskey.
Sharon loved to shop, especially at SAMS Club, Kohls, and yard sales; she also enjoyed baking many delicious treats and reading cookbooks to find the perfect new recipe. Her most treasured pastime was spending time with her family, children, grandchildren, and going to the beach to fish with her son Brian.
Sharon is survived by her sons, Brian Marine (Nicole) and Chris Marine (Christina MacArthur); brother, Michael Foskey (Tammy); sisters, Phyllis Hall (Freddie), Cathy Givens (Craig), and Kim Hastings (Martin); grandchildren, Kirsten Marine, Brett Marine, Kayla Marine, Nicole Corbionce (Chris), and Tony MacArthur (Marrisa); great-grandchildren, Maleigha Marine, Liam Kane, Kinsley Marine, Bennett Marine, Anthony Corbionce, Alison Corbionce, and Emily MacArthur. Several nieces and nephews also survive her.
In addition to her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by her husband, Jay Marine; brothers, Jerry Foskey and Wayne Foskey; sisters, Sandra Willin and Jackie Belson.
A visitation was held on Sunday, Oct. 12 at the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home in Laurel. A Celebration of Life followed. Pastor Scott Conn officiated.
