The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce will welcome the 287th Army Band as its entertainment for the Friday night dinner show kickoff to the weekend on Oct. 3. Dinner will be provided by Lighthouse Catering with a backdrop of American Patriotism. Photos with B 25 Mitchell Bomber, Panchito and other WWII era aircraft, auction, 50-50 will be part of this fun evening. Tickets are now on sale via www.wings-wheels.com or calling 302-856-1544. Tickets are $60 each or $110 per couple. Tables of eight will be reserved.
Come help welcome the Army Band to Georgetown for the first time and help kick off the weekend
If you can’t join the chamber Friday night, come out to its main event on Saturday, Oct. 4, which runs from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Delaware Coastal Airport. This year the event will welcome the Air Force Performance Lab – a virtual opportunity to get up close to an F17 engine, do airmen challenges and more. It will also welcome back the USNA Parachute Team, DANG C130 & Black Hawk helicopter, kids activities (laser tag and some games) and 100 + vendors, static WWII Era aircraft display and of course a huge car show.
