Patricia “Ann” Bollinger of Seaford passed away peacefully on Aug. 10, 2025. She was born in Seaford on Aug. 12, 1939, the daughter of the late Norman and Lois Mumford.
Patricia was a member and lay pastor of Wesley Fellowship Church; she was also very involved with the Emmaus community. Patricia retired from the state of Delaware where she was a long-term care advisor. After retirement, she worked part-time as a substitute teacher at Greenwood Mennonite School. In her free time, she was always happy to take care of her grandchildren.
Patricia is survived by three sons, Steve Bollinger (Belinda), Eric Bollinger (Glenda), and Jeff Bollinger (Ann); six grandchildren, Anna Bollinger, Stephanie Gilmore, Scott Bollinger (Kayla), Jennifer Creppon (Raymond), Rachel Bollinger, Jacop Bollinger and Leah Jones (Mike); 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Lois Mumford; two sisters, Helen Hood and Norma Jean Neish; and one brother, William Mumford.
Funeral services were held on Friday, Aug. 15 at Cranston Funeral Home in Seaford. Following funeral services, interment took place at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Seaford.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
