Jenna Hochstedler of Davenport, Fla. passed away on July 19, 2025 after a courageous battle with liver disease. Born on Dec. 22, 1993 in Seaford, Jenna brought warmth and light into the lives of all who know.
A graduate of Sussex Tech High School in Georgetown, class of 2012, Jenna went on to attend the University of South Florida in Tampa.
Jenna was a devoted mother of hr beloved daughter Marlee Jane Bernal. Marlee was the center of Jenna’s world and the joy of her life. Together with Marlee’s father Alfredo Bernal, they shared a bond rooted in love and care for their daughter.
She was a cherished daughter to Kevin and Cathi Hochstedler and a beloved sister to Jacob Hochstedler (Cheri), Jonas Hochstedler (Samantha), and Derek Stafford (Dawn). Her nieces Annabelle Hochstedler, Natalie Huddleston, Samantha Stafford, Summer Smith and nephew Quinton Hochstedler, and many loving cousins will remember her with deep affection.
Jenna also held a special place in the hearts of her extended family: Uncles and aunts Henry and Contrell Fowler, Mark and Angie Fowler, Toby and Lynn Fowler, and Dawn and Michael Mahoney. She was deeply loved by her maternal grandmother Elizabeth Fowler and paternal grandmother Saundra Hochstedler. She now joins her maternal grandfather William Fowler and paternal grandfather Paul Hochstedler in eternal rest.
Those who knew Jenna will remember her as someone who never met a stranger. Her kind heart and radiant spirit drew people in effortlessly- creating lifelong friendships wherever she went. Whether she was casting a new line fishing, dancing at music festivals under open skies, or soaking up the sun at the beach- her favorite places- Jenna livers with passion and authenticity.
Her presence brought joy to every gathering; her laughter filled rooms; her compassion lifted others. She was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, cousin- and above all- a devoted mother whose legacy will live on through her beautiful daughter Marlee Jane.
