It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Patricia A. Davis of Delmar, Del. She passed away peacefully at home on Nov. 25, 2024. She was born April 3, 1954 in Salisbury to Jack Dennis and Marian Lynch (Curtis).
While Pat spent many years working in retail and the health care field if you asked her she would have said her greatest and most rewarding career was being a mother, a grandmother, and a great-grandmother. She loved with her whole heart and was so proud of her children and grandchildren that she never missed an opportunity to let them or anyone else know just how proud she was. Pat enjoyed going out to lunch with her sister Gloria and spending time with her family any chance she could. She was an active member at 3C USA Church in Delmar, Del., she enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Laurel Senior Center, she loved shopping and absolutely loved holidays. She loved helping people, loved lending an ear to anyone who needed to vent, or just wanted to chat.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Dawn Lathrop, her brother Ronnie Dennis, and her daughter Jacqueline Davis-King.
She is survived by her son James (Heather) Davis; her daughter-in-law Kristen (Jacqueline, deceased) King; six grandchildren Jonathan (Sarahi) Cooper, Nicolas Cooper, Peyton Cooper, Morgan Wells, Damien Davis, Dylan Davis; three great-grandchildren Jonathan Cooper Jr., Scarlett Jerman, and Sophia Cooper; her sister Gloria Milligan; her brothers Barry Wootten, Rick Wootten; several cousins, nieces, and nephews; her friends Lisa Vickers; Amanda, Jonathon, Savannah (Westin and Herminio), and Natalie Smith; Dawn, Steve and Jase Litchford; Chris Adkins and countless other friends whom she considered family.
Pat will be missed more than words can ever express, she will forever be loved and her memory will live on through her family, her friends and by all whom loved her.
Pat’s wish was to donate her body to science, so even in death she is doing what she loved, helping others. A memorial was held for her on Jan. 10 at 3C USA Church in Delmar.
