Edward Raymond Clayville of Seaford passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024, with his wife by his side. Edward was born on Jan. 7, 1943, in Milford, the son of the late Raymond and Cora Clayville.

Edward graduated from Seaford High School in 1961. He then went on to work for DuPont in Seaford for 40 years and retired from DuPont as a mechanic. He loved fishing, crabbing, clamming, boating, anything to do with the water, and woodworking, but most of all he loved spending time with his wife. Edward loved his vehicles, his SSR pickup Convertible and Model A Jitterbug. He was a member of St. Paul’s Church in Laurel where he was the trustee chair for many years.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, JoAnn Clayville, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Edwards was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Cora Clayville and brothers, John Richard Clayville and Alan Clayville.

A memorial service will take place at a later date at St. Paul’s Church in Laurel.
