The Greenwood United Methodist Church will hold its Trunk for Treats and Fall Festival on Thursday, Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. The event takes place in the parking lot at the church and includes decorated trunks, one of the Greenwood Volunteer Fire Company’s fire trucks, a fireman to interact with the children, a couple of games, free hot cocoa and homemade chocolate chip cookies.
Also, there will be a jar of goodies that the children can guess the number for first, second, and third place prizes of gift certificates for $25, $15, and $10. In case of rain, the goodies will be moved indoors to the church hall. This is a terrific evening to get out and about and see your neighbors while your children pick up the goodies.
