Rebecca made ordinary moments extraordinary through the beauty of her table, the warmth of her home, and her thoughtful detail and effort which created so many memories for those she knew and loved. Her zest for life and creativity touched every aspect of her world, and her cherished traditions will live on in all who knew her.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, Leon; her daughter, Pam; son-in-law Keith Plaugher. Also surviving Rebecca, known as Gump to her beloved grandsons, are Kyle, Chase, Grant, and her granddaughter-in-law, Taylor. She leaves her brothers, Richard and Dennis, and sisters, Elaine, Judy, and Diane, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will carry her spirit forward.
Instead of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to colon cancer organizations (of your choosing) in honor of her giving and compassionate heart.
