Travis W. Sepulveda of Bethel, passed away on Oct. 3, 2024 at the Lofland Park Center. She was born on July 8, 1930 in Laurel to the late Clarence White and Mary Webb Hager. Travis graduated from Laurel High School in the class of 1948. After graduation, she earned her teaching degree and retired many years later as an elementary school teacher.

She enjoyed knitting, sewing, embroidery, cross stitching, reading, playing card games, creating beautiful paintings with watercolors and oils, and had traveled to Disney World over 22 times. Travis was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Salisbury. Her legacy was her family, and she will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Robert Sepulveda; daughters, Karen Huffman and her husband Ken and Eileen Dawson and her husband Keith; grandchildren, Sara (Pawel), Brian (Kim), Kerri (Stephen), Stacey (Chris), Demery (Kevin), and Blaine (Daylin). Many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive her. In addition to her parents, Travis was preceded in death by her brothers and one sister.

A visitation will be held Thursday, Oct. 10, 10-11 a.m. at Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home, 700 West Street, Laurel, Delaware 19956. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery-Laurel. The Rev. Dr. Benita Harris will officiate. The family requests that contributions be made in Mrs. Sepulveda’s honor to Asbury United Methodist Church, 1401 Camden Avenue, Salisbury, Maryland 21801.
