The parish community of St. Philip’s Church in Laurel, 600 S. Central Ave., will host a visit by Episcopal bishop, Bishop Kevin Brown, this Sunday, Feb. 9, at 9:30 a.m. During his annual visit, Bishop Brown will deliver the sermon and will also celebrate the Confirmation, Reception, and Reaffirmation of five St. Philip’s members.
The celebration will follow with a bountiful coffee hour and fellowship in the parish house, just adjacent to St. Philip’s Church. All community members are welcome to join out in this festive celebration of faith, community, and fellowship.
