hurch will celebrate its 247th Homecoming Service on Sunday, Nov. 8 at 2 in Greenwood. Presiding Pastor Eric Fontenez-Baez will officiate. The guest speaker will be Pastor Dan Taylor from Laurel. He and his wife, Betsy, have pastored in churches in Pa., Md., and Del. for over 47 years. They also sing and minister with services in local senior centers, including the Greenwood CHEER, as well as pulpit supply, as needed.

Special music will be brought by Joy Slavens, a local harpist, who is the music director at Centenary U.M.C. in Laurel. Slavens writes original compositions and publishes her own music, which is sold throughout the U.S., and has been reviewed by Folk Harp and Harp Comumn.

Refreshments and a time of fellowship will follow the service. All are welcome to come and enjoy a time of celebration.
