Mount Olivet United Methodist Church will be having a Drive-Thru BBQ on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. or until sold out. Come to 23463 Sussex Highway, in front of Dover Pools, to get your platter. BBQ platters include pulled pork BBQ on a bun, coleslaw and baked beans or chips. Platters cost $7. Water and sodas will be available for $1.
Proceeds support Mount Olivet United Methodist Church. Mount Olivet actively supports the Seaford area community in many ways. Some of the church’s community support includes collecting Back to School supplies and food. It supports Love INC, Code Purple, and Teen Challenge. Its outreach includes the Father-Daughter Dance. The church has participated in Riverfest, Live for Chocolate, and the Christmas Parade. Your support for the Mount Olivet BBQ helps to support the community.
The church meets on Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. for worship. The church is socially distanced, masks are worn, and hand sanitizer and masks are available for those who need them.
