Mount Olivet United Methodist Church is offering the following services for Holy Week and Easter Sunday. Palm Sunday, March 24 will start with Sunday School at 9 a.m. and be followed by Worship Service at 10 a.m. Palms will be given out. The Chancel Choir and the Bell Choir will perform.
On March 28, there will be a Maundy Thursday Service which will start at 6 p.m. Communion will be served for all who wish to participate.
Services on Easter, March 31 will begin at 7 a.m. with a Sunrise Service that will be held in the Prayer Garden located behind the church (weather permitting). Bring a chair. The service will be held indoors if the weather is not cooperating. Breakfast will be served after the Sunrise Service in the Fellowship Hall. You may plan to come for breakfast even if you do not make the Sunrise Service. Sunday School starts at 9 a.m. There are classes for all ages.
At 10 a.m, the Easter Worship Service will begin. The sanctuary will be beautifully decorated with hyacinths, lilies, and tulips. The Chancel Choir will perform.
