New Zion UMC is hosting its 20th Annual “Balling for God” Basketball Tournament and Community Unity Day. The tournament will take place on Saturday, June 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the North Laurel Elementary School basketball courts in Laurel. There are four players per team; the age brackets are (6-10) elementary, (11-13) middle school, and (14-18) high school. Medals will be awarded to the first, second, and third place teams. 

There will be a three-point contest and a cornhole tournament.  There will be food, children’s games, a petting zoo, face painting, and health and educational vendors. To enter the basketball tournament, contact Amy Handy at 302-542-8164.
