Mt. Calvary United Methodist Church, 28 Church Street, Bridgeville will be celebrating its annual Family and Friends Day and 154th Church Anniversary on Sunday, Nov. 16, at 3 p.m. Mt. Calvary will be remembering the families and friends who have supported the church for 154 years. This will be a celebration of the resiliency of a church who has survived for 154 years because of God’s grace and mercy, prayer, family and friends.
The theme for Family and Friends Day/154th Church Anniversary is: “Rooted in Faith, Growing Together – Proverbs 17:17.” The guest speaker will be Minister Marsha Williams of Living by Truth Ministries of Cambridge.
