Send your children to the Vacation Bible School at Greenwood United Methodist Church as they discover the bigness of God in the smallest of things. The school will begin its exploration on Sunday, Aug. 3 from 6 to 8 p.m. and will continue each evening until closing program on Friday night Aug. 8. Ages Pre-K through grade 12 are welcome to register at the church on the first evening, and if schedules don’t permit each night, children are welcome for as many nights as they can join in. Greenwood Church is located at 101 West Market Street in Greenwood and you enter through the front double doors with registration on the right after you enter.
The children begin their adventure in the sanctuary with music, then go with their teachers to their classrooms. Each evening they receive a lesson in their classroom on the majesty of God and his creations, have a craft they participate in, outside games and, of course, a snack so their energy level stays up. At the end of the evening, all of the children and their teachers return for closing in the sanctuary.
