Mary Anne Rogers, formerly of the Delmar-Salisbury area, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 23, 2020, surrounded by her family.
She was born July 18, 1941, to the late Robert W. Lewis and Pearl Lewis Feldman in Gumboro, De, in the home of her late paternal grandparents, Willie I. Lewis and Helen Vickers Lewis.
She was preceded in death by her two sons Willie Cooper and Bobby Cooper, husband Robert Cooper, maternal grandparents John and Martha Cullen, brothers Donald (Butch) Lewis, Bobby Lewis and Johnathan Feldman, a son-in-law Bruce Zockel, brothers-in-law Wayne Price, Sr., William Madden and Reese Pusey.
She is survived by two daughters Sharon Matthews (Jamey) and Robin Bunting (Fletcher) of Lakeland, Fl., two sons Danny Price (Flo) of Laurel and Don Lewis of Greenwood, four sisters Mildred Price, Barbara Hitchens (Neal), Helen Cropper (Joe) of Laurel and Becky Madden of Dagsboro, two brothers Tony Lewis (Diane) of Philadelphia,Pa. and Jimmy Cooper (Yvonne) of Laurel, a daughter-in-law Mary Cooper of Princess Anne, Md. and 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at Laurel Wesleyan Church, 30186 Seaford Rd., Laurel, De.
