Gerry Lee Foskey of Bridgeville, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2020, after a battle with cancer.

Gerry was born on June 18, 1961 in Fairmont W.V., the daughter of the late Martha Currence Greathouse and Milton Vaughan. She grew up in Chestertown, Md. and graduated from Chestertown High School.

Gerry was a kind and loving soul who saw the best in everything. She always tried to help others even if she needed help. Strangers became family to her over the years while running Tom & Gerry’s Auto with her family. Gerry was a free spirit, just like the wild horses she loved so much.

Gerry is survived by her loving fiancé, Tom Bennett; her son, Jason Dean; daughter, Misty Marie, along with Tasha and Mandy and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her adoptive father, David Hopkins and siblings, Thomas Hopkins, Kimberly Hopkins, Cheryl Bryant, and Genea Smith.

All are welcome to celebrate her life at noon on Saturday, Feb. 22, at 502 Railroad Ave., Bridgeville.
