David R. Pusey, Sr. of Laurel, passed away on March 30, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Laurel, he is the son of the late Clifford and Emma Pusey. David proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was retired from the Local 542 Operating Engineer’s in the Heavy Equipment sector. David loved to hunt, fish, and socialize at the Laurel Flea Market. 

He is survived by his sons; David Pusey, Jr. and his wife Polly, Doug Pusey, Sr. and his wife Susan; Daughter, Connie Stevenson and her husband Gil; grandchildren, Patience Wells (Richie), Stephanie Cooper (James), Katlin Daisey (Ken), Doug Pusey, Jr., Derek Pusey (Katie), Angel Jestice (Jason), Gil Stevenson, Jr. and Dawn Hysan (Daniel); twenty great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive him. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Pusey, and his siblings, James Pusey, Lewis Pusey, and Emma Jean Joseph.

All services will be held privately. Reverend Howard Travers will officiate. Interment will be held in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Laurel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a Veterans charity of your choice or to Vitas Hospice, 100 Commerce Drive, #302, Newark, Delaware 19713.
