This Christmas season, are you downsizing your tree, need just one more tree for a special spot in your home, or need  an unusual gift for a friend or family member? The Seaford Chapter 1384 of the Women of the Moose is inviting the public to participate in a Parade of Trees and Crafts & Sweets Show. Santa will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for photo ops.

Come stroll through a winter wonderland amongst table-top size trees decorated in a variety of styles, while perusing gift tables and enjoying sweets or sipping on hot chocolate! The trees will be silently auctioned through ticket sales, just $2 each or 4 for $5. The winners of the trees will be drawn at 2 p.m., giving the winners plenty of time to pick them up.

The chapter is asking individuals and businesses to donate trees for this fundraiser. Donors are asked to donate artificial trees decorated as they wish, such as advertising their business or a favorite hobby. First, second, and third place ribbons for either the “Most Traditional”, “Most Beautiful” or “Most Creative” tree will be awarded.

The Parade of Trees and Craft/Sweet sales will be held on Saturday, Dec. 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Seaford Moose Family Center #1728, located at 22759 Bridgeville Highway, Seaford DE.  For info on how to donate a tree or other info on the show, please call or text Barb Gregory on 443-235-4488 or email: prt4lyf@verizon.net.

Masks are required and social distancing expected.

At least half the proceeds from this show will be donated to local community needs. Any tree not receiving a ‘bid’ will be donated to a local hospice.
