Wanda S. Hurley, 65, of Millsboro, passed away at her home on Aug. 17, 2019.
Born in Salisbury, Maryland, she is the daughter of the late Francis and Betty Fitzgerald. Wanda attended Seaford High School, and later graduated from Delaware Tech in 1982. She was retired as a Senior Accountant with DENRC, and was a member of the Elks Lodge.
Wanda is survived by her daughter Susan M. Parker and her husband Bart; brother, Steve Fitzgerald and his fiancé Mary; sister, Trudy Pusey and John; granddaughter, Whitney Parker; nieces, Samantha Jo Brittingham and Leslie, and Stefanie Hull and her husband Chucky. Three great nieces and one great nephew also survive her.
A Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2019, at Melson’s United Methodist Church, 32705 Melson’s Church Road, Delmar, Maryland 21875. Interment will be held privately. Contributions may be made in Wanda Hurley’s memory to the Brandywine SPCA, 22918 Dupont Blvd., Georgetown, Delaware 19947.
