The Seaford School Board named Russell Neal the 2019-20 Friend of Seaford Education winner during their November board meeting. The board also heard from a concerned citizen about the possibility of a referendum and approved class size waivers.

Christmas in Bridgeville

The Bridgeville Historical Society will be hosting its 44th Annual Christmas in Bridgeville Craft Show on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Woodbridge Middle School, located at 307 Laws Street in Bridgeville.

The craft show will include over 75 vendors selling a large assortment of holiday gift items. The craft show will also include a raffle for an LG Ultra High Definition TV (43” 4K Active HDR, webOS Smart TV with advanced color enhancer) and a Yeti cooler.

Lionel trains exhibit

This year’s holiday train exhibit at the Seaford Museum will feature the history of Lionel trains.

The exhibit features 50 of Lionel’s most beautiful trains in our American history of model trains. The exhibit will also feature, especially for children and grandchildren, a running model train exhibit featuring Department 56 buildings of the Dickens Village, New England, and the North Pole series.

The exhibit will be from Nov. 30 through Jan. 12, 2020, Thursday through Sunday afternoons, 1 to 4 p.m. The train show is located in the Webb Room of the Seaford Museum at 203 High St.
