Richard L. Short of Seaford passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, March 19, 2020.
He was born on February 22, 1941 in Harbeson, Delaware, a son of the late John M. Short and Madeline (Holston) Niblett.
Richard retired from Dupont Company in Seaford after 37 years of service. He enjoyed working on his grass cutters and mowing the lawn. He will be remembered as a die-hard fan of Ford trucks and the Philadelphia Eagles.
He is survived by his wife, Ina R. Short; a son, Richard L. Short, II and his wife Emily; a daughter, Tina M. Moyer and her husband Jonathon; two grandchildren, Madison N. Moyer and Andrew R. Moyer; and his beloved dog, “Hoochie.”
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gregory Short; and a step-brother, Kenneth Short.
