Recycled Cardboard Boat Regatta

Come join in the fun and family-oriented Recycled Cardboard Boat Regatta on Saturday, Aug. 3, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Nanticoke River Marina, Blades (Rain date is Aug. 4). Besides a challenging summer activity of building a recycled cardboard boat that will hold (at least through a 200 yard water course) up to four adults, the SixthAnnual Recycled Cardboard Boat Regatta is a great spectator sport! Come hungry as we will be grilling Black Angus Burgers and All-Beef Hot Dogs! An On-the-Water Remote Boat Demonstration begins the festivities! Get a team together from work, challenge your friends and family, design your boat, gather your cardboard, duct tape and latex paint and register! Go to de.gov/nps and click on the blue bar titled, “Reclaim Our River Program Events and Activities” for information/registration.
