Peggy I. Vincer of Laurel passed away on March 20, 2021 at home.

Peggy was born in Coeburn, Va., a daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Counts.

Peggy loved her family so much and her family loved her. She was a loving wife of 63 years, a loving mother of four children, grandmother and great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She loved having family get-togethers and also working with babies and toddlers. She enjoyed teaching Sunday School in various churches. She was a member of Shiloh Community Church in Laurel. She could be found in her garden, planting flowers, pulling weeds and watching birds. Having many friends, everyone who met her loved her. She was a godly woman who now will be reunited with loved ones that went before her and receive her heavenly rewards. “Well Done, Thy Faithful Servant”.

Peggy is survived by daughters Pamela Gail Lane of Laurel and Karen Bova (Steve) of Baltimore, Md. She is also survived by sister Elouise Couch of Abington, Va.; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild also survive her.

She is preceded in death by her husband Frank Vincer, and sons Larry Vincer and Rodney Vincer.

All services will be announced at a later date. In remembrance of Peggy’s life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to Shiloh Community Church in Laurel. Arrangements are in the care of the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home in Laurel.
